Why Facebook Groups and Communities Matter for Prospects

Facebook groups are powerful tools for building your brand and attracting new people into your business. When you consistently provide value, share content, and show up as a leader, people take notice.

Branding yourself as an expert in your niche sets you apart from all the other noise online. It’s a core part of attraction marketing, and it’s how people start to know, like, and trust you.

Start Every Conversation With Purpose

When you talk with Facebook prospects, don’t just wing it.

Start by building genuine rapport. Ask questions like:

  • “What business are you promoting online?”
  • “Why did you join that opportunity?”
  • “Are you looking to make a little side income or a full-time income?”
  • “What would that extra income mean to your family?”

These questions help reveal their why. That emotional reason will fuel their action—and help you know if (and how) you can help.


Serve First, Then Share to your Prospects

Once you understand where they’re coming from, offer genuine help. Share tools, training, tips, or just support. Become a person of value.

Eventually, they may ask what you do.

Don’t jump right in with a pitch. Ask them back:

“Why? Are you open to looking at something different?”

If they say no, continue to help them with what they’re doing. No pressure.

If they say yes, then share a third-party tool, book a follow-up, and ideally set up a three-way call with someone on your team.


Why This Approach Works

Here’s what your prospect sees:

  • You were friendly and helpful.
  • You weren’t pushy or salesy.
  • You simply asked if they were open.
  • You shared a video, and someone else answered questions.

That’s powerful.

They walk away thinking, “Hey, I could do that too.”
The less you “sell,” the more relatable you become. Otherwise, they hit you with, “I’m not a salesperson.”


Keep Going, Even If You Don’t Get It Perfect

Yes, you’ll make mistakes. Some people won’t respond. That’s normal.

Don’t get discouraged. Maybe they were just distracted, busy—or even in the bathroom. 🤷‍♂️

The good news? There are over a billion users on Facebook. Go again.
You’ll get better. Find your rhythm. You’ll start attracting the right people.


Final Goal: More Eyeballs, More Money

Your only goal in these conversations is to get more Facebook prospects to see your presentation.

More eyeballs = more opportunity.
More opportunity = more growth.
Simple as that.
