How to Kickstart Growth in Your Group
When you're just starting your Facebook community, it won’t grow on its own—you’ll need to give it a push.
Here are a few simple ways to do that:
- Invite your friends manually. Even better, ask them first if they’d like to join—then add them.
- Do “contra deals” with other group owners. There’s a post inside my Secret To Online Success Group where group owners are open to doing this.
- Leverage your prospecting efforts. If you’re already reaching out to people in networking or niche groups and they’re interested in learning from you, add them to your community too.
When Momentum Starts to Build
Eventually, something amazing will happen—your group will begin to grow on its own.
People will start requesting to join. Your members will tag others. Discussions will happen without you needing to initiate every post. And when that happens, you’ll be generating organic leads—people who already want to talk to you.
That’s the ultimate goal.
Keep Expanding Your Reach
To speed things up, keep creating compelling content and offer helpful training consistently. Then, expand across platforms:
- Start a blog
- Launch a YouTube channel
- Repurpose content on Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn
- Share your best posts everywhere you can
The more you show up, the more hooks you have in the water—and the more people you'll reel in.
